Stretched LGB
Passenger Cars
My conversion of standard LGB passenger cars,
sliced to stretch out to make a full length coach and combine.
Working with my friend Barry, I simply cut three
LGB cars and sliced to make two stretched cars..
The first picture is two original LGB cars. The
next three show after cutting and slicing 3 to make 2 cars.
The 4 middle pictures show the final cars after
painting and lettering for D&RGW. I
have more to build!
Bottom first is my train with Sunset 2-8-0. Last 3
are Barry’s true 22.5 scale, scratch built versions to compare.
