Tree on Tracks

A tree fell across the tracks and bent both rails.  On the 17th, we removed the tree up and cleared the tracks to replace rails.
The boot points to the damaged area.   Also, in the past, Jack and I
(Tom) talked about changing the Mile Posts with Clear Lake as 0.
This was also done with help from Doug F and Carl J.    On the 18th, I cut up a bunch of new ties.
On the 21st, Tom W came down to help.  We worked on changing out the bent rail.  One photo shows Tom getting ready to cut
the bad spot out.  Another shows him starting to unbolt the right rail.  Then the old rail out and waiting for us putting in the new.
Turns out the new rail was 1/4 inch to long so I need to cut a little off.  A task for another day.
On the 22nd, the new rail is in and the track can now be safely transversed.

If you feel some photos are blurry or fuzzy, this is what I was sent to load.
I did take a couple and crop to show more of the key area.  - Frolin -
