Sandy Ridge & Clear Lake Railway

July 4-5-6 2018

On the 4^th, we picked up the second and third load of wood for Woodshill for the year and stacked it.
On the 5^th, we loaded the straightened rail on the gon. We have a new supply of creosoted ties so added them to the flat
and took them to the CBE branch where damaged by the tree falling. We laid out the rail but found it too hot to continue.
On the 6^th, we got the rail hooked up but the ties had to wait as the sun made it to warm when we lost the shade.
On the 7^th, the weather was nice so we got the track back into service to the big tree back, where Jack is standing. - Tom
