New Flat Cars – July 2010
The guys
have been busy building two new flat cars, one for the SR&CL and the other
for the CB&E (branch
line)

During the Spring, Bob and Tom
built up two new flat cars. Mel then finished them out with stake pockets, grab irons, steps
and lettering. The shorter
#12 was stacked on top of the longer #440, so that it would be easier for Mel
to work on one side in the shop, roll them over to the turntable, turn them around
and roll them back to the shop, to work on the other side. –Tom
