# 7 makes test run in the Snow

We fired up # 7 to see if it was ready for an outdoor session the following weekend after sleeping all summer in the roundhouse. Our second goal was to see if it would balance on the new turntable at Clear Lake. Yes it did. Plus, it was snowing heavily (see streaks on pics). Thank heavens for working sanders. We got a partial load of wood from the CB&E and filled out the rest of the car at Casper Cut. Starting on the 5% wet rail was SWEET. No spin, was surprised. Sander valve was at the ready incase it was needed. We put her away after our return to Phelps - Tom
